Hello Friends!
Managed to rig up wind generator to pump water from my well in Ireland. Charges 12v. Auto battery to work small electric pump with mercury switch to pump to blue tank and then to my attic water tank to house down the hill.
Lots of wind!

Impressive.....I also keep forgetting that in certain places people have water meters and they get charged for using the water......
I`m lucky with the fact that the water is not metered where I live.....

I`m impressed with your setup.

Great work,
I've not come across a DIY version of an electrical wind pump, as long as it works well done.

Marlec do a higher powered alternative, but it will set you back £1500 incl VAT

Hi Savonius,

Excellent! Buttt... what's a guy with your moniker doing with a HAWT? ;)

I hope you enjoy the power bill for your water pumping.

Cheers!
