Hi All,
I have just finished my treadmill motor turbine and it is up and spins in the slightest wind. I'm very happy with this, all I need to do now is to wire it up. Anybody help me with the wiring?

The tower is in fact a scaffold pole that is 11 feet high, I will let you know about the output of it as soon as.

Yes Thats a good diode, with a heat sink - anything metal to disperse the heat - Aluminum preferably.

Looks good Galeforce,
You may want to get some guy wires fitted for added tower rigidity.

As I mentioned, you just need a blocking diode including heatsink and fuse (10 amp)between the DC motor/generator and battery.
