Just noticed on the Navitron site, some of the 1kW Turbine have a few problems.
I thought it is worth posting here;

Product Safety Notice - 1kW Turbine

It has become apparent that there is a potential weakness in the construction of the 1kW turbine. In extreme conditions there have been instances of blades becoming detached and breaking the casting at the hub due to imbalance. Although only a small number of units are affected, it does of course give cause for concern.

The product in questions is the 1kW turbine with low noise blades. Although it is unlikely that a fault will develop if your turbine has been working for a long period of time, for safety, we advise everyone with the 1kW turbine, regardless of the type of blades, to temporarily disable it. This should be done by securing a blade to the tower with a rope or lowering the tower.

We will send a new hub and blades to everyone who has bought an affected 1kW turbine (including those with standard blades). Regretfully, it may take two to three months to supply everyone with the replacement parts. We apologise for the delay and inconvenience, but trust you appreciate why we are taking this action now, rather than wait until the parts are available.

That is a respectable action taken by the manufacturer. Anyone that flies their wind turbines in your 70mph winds deserves a broken hub. But for the manufacturer to warranty them in such cases is simply amazing.
