Hi, I hope you are able to answer this question. I have a solar panel (or a wind turbine) charging a 12v car battery with a regulator attached. Is it ok for me to use the battery to charge up my mobile phone for example (or for other purposes) WHILST the solar panel or wind turbine is attached to the battery charging it up ?
I am still a beginner in all this so please forgive me if this is a dumb question. |

Thanks for that Gotwind. Can I also attach an inverter onto the battery at the same time that the solar panel is charging the battery up, in order to use an electrical appliance, a juicer for example ? |

Yes, that will be fine.
Don't confuse a solar charge controler with a wind turbine charge controler, they are not the same. |
