Last year I purchased a few Freeplay products off ebay.

1 - XRAY LED TORCH (Very Bright)
2 - XRAY HALOGEN TORCH (some beam by the way)
3 - Freeplay Imax Radio (Does the job well)

The halogen torch I use for my house and garden.
The LED torch I use at work every night doing security
The windup radio I use for hours and end listening to it (solar power on it works really well)

Just wanted to say thanks top all the people on gotwind that spent some time looking for the best free energy products..

I fully endorse these freeplay products totally. One reason is that I have dropped the radio a few times down stairs and it still works great. Dropped it on the floor a few times too!! VERY Robust!!!

Luckily I keep my torches in my pocket! LOL

Anyone thinking of getting windup stuff go for FREEPLAY! They might be a little more expensive but I bet you will be using them still for years to come.

Best beam I've seen from a Freeplay product - I will post a video when I get a minute or two.

Any chance of doing a JONTA video clip on youtube when you have time ben?

The freeplay stuff is a bit expensive but you pay for what you get!! I know the shares went down in the company for a good while and I think this was due to people not buying the items because of the crap cheap efforts that flooded the market from asia.

Freeplay I think are the best I have seen and used! The XRAY LED small torch is good for anyone!

I think i`d like the jonta too much all the same!!

Does anyone know what the power rating in MCD is on the LEDS they use?

I think it might be 2000 MCD.

I bought the Freeplay Jonta - with the 1 watt luxeon LED.
Now that is a good torch, comparable to the power output of a 2 'C' cell maglite - not cheap - 35 U.K pounds ($70)
Some of the smaller single LED torches seem a bit under powered in comparison.

It was a bit larger than I suspected, but well designed and built.

I've got a Freeplay Summit radio. In addition to the winder it also has a little solar panel (140mm x 24mm) on it and you can also charge it from the mains. Seems very well built and I'm very pleased with it. Sound quality is good but don't expect Bose like performance.

The radio incorporates a digital tuner and a clock so is also a clock radio with alarm and sleep functions. It has FM, MW, LW and SW bands with plenty of presets.

Overall well recommended.

Cheers

I forgot to mention I also have a Freeplay INDIGO. they are not bad,but I`d probably say the only advantage of having it is that it is a good lantern, but a normal xray led torch is just as good.

DOES ANYONE OWN A JONTA OR ANY OTHER FREEPLAY PRODUCTS THEY WOULD LIKE TO ADD TO THIS TOPIC AND REVIEW THEM?
