Posted - 04/05/2008 : 18:35:40 Hi everyone at gotwind, last night I was in my shed bored and decided to grab an old coffee container, and some little blades that I had made about a year ago, then a solar panel and this is the result:http://www.youtube.com/v/Uh42Yf9YAss&hl=en The light effect is wicked and when it's really going it does somme nice lines along the container, the solar light charges during the day and commes on when it gets dark, didn't cost me nothing, just 20 to 30 minutes of labour. cheerio super windy |

Posted - 05/05/2008 : 12:39:47 O.k guys, I have decided to make a big scale vawt, however I although I understand the concept I would love to ask anyone that has made a vawt, what is the best design, at first I would make a prototype and see how it works, then eventually make one that I can hook up to a generator, so any advice on the design. cheerio super windy |
