Hi Guys just a quick video for all members to see it features the one and only( el guru) of wind power, Mr Hugh Piggott, it's nice to see "the man" himself and to understand his addiction like we have becomme, anyway here is the video:

I completely agree with MattM. Hugh was extremely patient and helpful in response to my own cretinous questions, and I hold him in high regard.

Super Windy,

Thank you for sharing this. It has put a new image to the books, his manual and methods. Very nice find.

Hugh is a nice guy and true pioneer. He generously responded to my questions by email. I was impressed by his lengthy and informative replies.

Go Huskers!

Accents differ in Scotland even within a 7 mile radius.Hugh has more of an english accent than scottish by the sounds of it. I have also noticed that a lot of people from inverness sound English too.. Accents are an amazing thing! Notice the difference even between fungus and myself and we live very near each other!!

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=daiIrEAQwgg <- video i made int he park 150 meters above my house.Vic`s scottish accent. lol

Hi ben cheers, I do think it was a good find at least all the little gotwinds have an excuse to see the "godfather", I also noticed that his scottish accent wasn't what I was expecting, but then again he is a well travelled man.

Excellent find super windy, advised viewing, as you suggest.

Hugh Piggott is certainly the DIY wind master - 'neccesity is the mother of invention'.
Interestingly:
Hugh has a surprisingly minimal scottish accent.

Ben.
