Posted - 08/01/2008 : 02:22:12 hi i am trying to build a jacob ladder but i need neon sign transformer 240v to 15,000 volts i cant find one any where but there is one on ebay but my paypal douse not work bummer so i challenge you to find a website link that sells transformers any thing bettween 6000 to 15000 volts would be good looking for a bout 7.500 volts and good luck surching the web

Posted - 09/01/2008 : 16:21:37 Ashley. Good to see you are keen, but I wouldn't go messing around with high voltages, particularly if you are just starting. Stick to generating power with low voltage (12v)
Personally I don't touch anything over 24 volts DC. Also read as much as you can here in previous posts.
