Am I onto a winner,

24vdc motor,The motor runs off 2 12v batteries
22rpm output speed,
0.25kw motor power,
108Nm motor output torque.

I can't do the maths on this because I don't know enough about motors.
I put my screwdriver up against the motor and it stuck so there's magnets inside it.
This motor is designed to pull 200lbs deadweight.

There also appears to be a nice long shaft on this for mounting a decent arbour.

If its suitable for a genny I'll let you know its source ,and hopefully, we can all get one.

I think a drawing board has my name on it somewhere, I'll go back and look at the motor and see if it has a gead head on it that I could remove.

Cut in RPMs for 12V would be 12 RPMs for 12V. Too slow because it would stall unless it was a wide VAWT.

It must be a gear head motor, and they are not ideal (meaning usually quite bad).

It might be OK for 12V if the gear head can be removed and the gear ratio was around 25:1?
Usually it is not a suitable motor in a low voltage gear head motor.

Never hurts to try.
