You're a brave man superwindy. Having that many in your garden is likely to attract the attention of the council via a p****** off neighbour. Do they make a lot of noise?

My gen went up by degrees; a small one was replaced by a larger one but kept the same blades for a while, these would be replaced later with larger blades but the same colour etc. It also got higher over time too.

These changes often took place at night, the neighbours must think I have very fertile soil, it can make a wind turbine grow!

Your wood one looks like its 2 meters diameter. Judging by the videos you've posted in the past that will only be a ton of force against it in your kind of weather. I'm thinking it will tip over for sure in your gales. Heck, tecon's much smaller six bladed one was tipping over a basketball hoop pole in winds than were in the 20-30 mph range, and that was with the ballast and all down at ground level.

Go Huskers!

If i were you i would take your wooden blade setup and move it to the highest mount in the back so you can get some real results from it!

Might have to reinforce the pole to accommodate for the added weight.

Cool image.
I think you will find the wooden blades out perform the PVC ones significantly.

You might want to keep your young son well away from the lowest mounted turbine...

You must also have a good relationship with your wife, for her to allow the garden to be full of turbines - a skill in its own right

Ben.
