These chinese made 200 watt wind generators on eBay are hard to beat - A diy version wouldn't be much cheaper.
£229 +£25 shipping.

I have read that they can be quite noisy, but the blades can be replaced or modified.

Just an alternative to hunting around for an Ametek motor.

Hi Dell.

Yes that was offered, but more of a way of generating interest in Navitron I think.
I don't mind helping them out - Ivan is a good bloke and doing a good job.

Ben.

Bit more BIY than DIY though!

I am tempted to spend a bit more money though, but think I'd prefer to go the "buying a PMA route" and do everything else around it myself.

Didn't Navitron offer a £99 bare bones kit as part of your competition a while back Ben? I wonder if he could still do it?

Cheers

Del.

Yes, that is exactly what they are II81- Navitron just ship them in from China.

That alternator, hub, blades, tail and fin look identical to my Navitron turbine.

woo-hoo
