These chinese made 200 watt wind generators on eBay are hard to beat - A diy version wouldn't be much cheaper. £229 +£25 shipping.
I have read that they can be quite noisy, but the blades can be replaced or modified.

Yes that was offered, but more of a way of generating interest in Navitron I think. I don't mind helping them out - Ivan is a good bloke and doing a good job.

I am tempted to spend a bit more money though, but think I'd prefer to go the "buying a PMA route" and do everything else around it myself.
Didn't Navitron offer a £99 bare bones kit as part of your competition a while back Ben? I wonder if he could still do it?
