Posted - 17/01/2008 : 12:07:56 well i have rang round every were i can get the motor for a £150 but nobody sells the brushes.
ghurd you say they can be filed down to fit, is that the differance between all brushes the length? so if i get some brushes from a washing machine motor with a little bit of fileing they should fit? |

Posted - 16/01/2008 : 19:21:43 Must be an English to American thing. I read 'brushes'.
Brushes? Oversized ones can be filed down to fit. Messy, but easy.
Bushings? Like a bearing? They shouldn't be hard to find either.
Bushes grow in my flower bed. ;-) G- |

There are a few companies that do specialise in the selling and maintenance of treadmills so maybe contact one of those companies (google for treadmill repair)
Cheers
