Hi Ed Always good to hear of new products, however it only logs 50% of the possible RE power in a location (i.e no solar data). It is over twice the price without solar logging.

Hi Ben,
Yes, it seems to be only for wind... It was an option to connect directly to a laptop or computer. I think Inspeed have a very cheap anemometer system to connect directly to a computer but again only for wind :P

Hi all - just a quickie - we are looking at getting something set up for downloadable data into excel at the moment, since quite a lot of people have requested this. Will let you know when we have something in place.
Cheers
Toby

Thats a very good idea Toby. That reminds me, its the 15th - It's been exactly a month since the power predictor has been recording wind and solar data.
Time to get the annemometer/ solar sensor down and see what it predicts

I am from Western Oklahoma and would like to become a dealer of your product. Are you working with anyone in the United States to sale your product?
Thanks, Andrew |

Hi all
Quick update - we have now completed the first round of 'internationalising' the Power Predictor software. We are looking for potential distributors in the US and elsewhere, lots of people are getting in touch, but anyone interested can contact us at hello@bettergeneration.co.uk and we'll make sure you're in the loop and part of it as things progress.
Official US launch won't be for a few months yet whilst we sort out the various regulations and red tape, but all progressing nicely.
Best, Toby
