After a bit of advice please.
As the question states, can sealed lead acid batteries be fitted within an air tight enclosure?

I suspect not, they must need venting at some point??

Thanks.

Ben.

Hi Ben.
You're correct in your assumptions that they do need venting periodically as they vent when being charged and under load conditions.
Is it possible to fit a venting membrane to the enclosure you have in mind?

Hef.
