I've been elevated!
An great honour has been bestowed upon me.
An appointment at the palace.
I was a lowly starting member and now, ooh there's a lump in my throat, I can hardle believe it, I am now, wait for it, a NEW member!
I'd like to thank my family and friends for supoorting me...
Now I see the next podium step is that of Junior member and Victor is alone in that honoured and hallowed position at the moment.
Ben - could you explain what all the membership levels are about please?
Ooh and when can I start using the G.O.T.W.I.N.D letters after my name?

Del, I think it's to do with how many posts you've submitted. I've been a member since June '06 and this is my third post!! I check the forums everyday and I'm still regarded as a New member. Given that Ben is my brother one would have thought he'd have upgraded me by now, maybe Windmaster level 3 or Gust guru third dan. Something like that. Cheers

You'll have to exert some family pressure on getting this membership level more exciting. And get your own posts into double figures at the very least!

Yes guys the ranking is simply based on the amount of posts made, nothing to do with status....
The rankings as they are set - I could change all the ranking names?
I have stars by usernames now for extra 'nerdability'
Starting Member 0-50 No star
New Member 50-100 bronze star
Junior member 100-500 silver star
Member 500 - 1000 gold star
Admin - God like abilities - gold star

Well done dell, and guess what, so have I, I feel so happy to now be a new member, with 51 posts, that I need to shut down the computer has I'm getting quite emotional , it's everything I dreamed of and more, anyway, everyone keep up with the posts and progress updates.
Cheerio, lets make gotwind a website for life, even when I reach 70 or 80 I will still be logging on to gotwind to see what the next generation are comming up with.
