hi again , I have tried out all the formalus and still come out with the same output .
it seems that i need only 120 rpm to produce 12 volts . and the output amp/watt comes to over 10 amps over 12 volts . is this really possible or really a miscalculation on my part . below is the spec .
10 RPM per volt so yes, 130 for 13. Not much good as a genny at only 0.85 amps current rating (will work as trickle charger) Yes at 12v you need 10 amps to get 120 watts.
"Not much good as a genny at only 0.85 amps current rating" You can usually push them beyond the specs a little, but have to be careful with putting too much current through and overheating the wire. The limit will be on the internal resistance/impendance (impendance which'll be less at lower frequencies), it'll make a nice small charger up to maybe 25w I'd guess.
