Fungus, on that second Youtube video you show a Fluorescent light. Is that out of a computer scanner? (CCFL)? Just trying to get a better idea of what I'm looking for.

The one above the window isnt, its a normal fluorescent bulb that I attached a driver to (more at http://www.reenergy.co.uk/12vfl.php ) The small one I had an the floor connected to the solar panel is the CCFL, the tube itsself is only a couple mm across but is shrouded in plastic.
