We had some moderate winds this Sunday so I thought I do an experiment with my 2 gennies. I hooked them up in series without a blocking diode. With this set up the Indiana turned the Ametek against the wind. I guess that is proof enough that the Indiana out performs the Ametek.

We had very light winds this morning and I noticed that the Ametek was spinning nicely and it was spinning the Indiana backwards. There times in similar conditions when I have the Ametek spinning and the Indiana pointed in the opposite direction and spinning backwards. They are connected in parallel. I think that it would be a good idea to build my next set of blades so they each spin in opposite directions.

We are expected to get some 12 to 18 mph winds this weekend. I will follow up with my findings on Monday.
