I have to say how much I appreciate these recommendations from you good folk that have used the products. I am now 66 years old and am not sure that I have time to learn it all and then use what I have learnt in making stuff. So the fast track to making things is my best route and to use "ready mades" allows for this.
I was going to go the whole hog and talk to Navitron about a small windmill system but I understand Martin is in hospital having been very ill over Christmas so this will have to wait. Wish him well.
Thanks again to all you pioneers.

Hi Nobicus.
I can't blame you for considering the commercial generator route, prices are pretty competitive.
Navitrons turbines are cheap, maybe not the best quality and a little noisy, quieter blades are available though.

Also worth considering is the Futurenergy complete turbine kit, more expensive but I've heard good reports.

Both turbines are pretty heavy, so erecting it would not be a simple task, a good page on Navitron on what is involved.

Good luck

Ben.
