I have been playing around with the out put from my generator and I have noticed a difference on output depending on what diodes I use for my bridge rectifier.

Are there any diodes that are recommended over others?

I seem to remember a project on this page that had a different type..

Those rated at a much higher amps will be a little better.
Schottkys will be a bit higher too.

Usually, the difference is minuute.
Very small or high frequency windmills could show a bit more gain.
