To quote: 'The E-126 has no gearbox attaching the turbine blades to the generator, in fact, the generator is housed just at the widest part of the nose cone, it takes up the entire width of the nacelle to generate power more efficiently, and provide longer service life with less wear'.
Did you see the wind turbine in the UK that had bent right over in the high winds recently? Has anyone any information on this because I've seen it in a free newspaper and it was a right mess!! lol
I think it was in the north of England.
