Hello Ben and all little gotwinds Just a quick e-mail to say I'm back from australia, where it was extremely hot and good, and got home to find out my internet wasn't working, to check out gotwind's website for new developments I instantly started to get the shakes, and anyway after almost 3 weeks without internet, and spending a hell of a lot of money talking to the dumb people they employ to sort out my computer, someone then had the bright idea of sending me a new router and voila!!, I have once again internet. Anyway I have been reading the past posts and want to congratulate everyone that has bought the future energy's generator, someone already had 800 watts on the receiving end, woooow, now we are talking, I'm a bit upset that I have missed out on the offer that future energy donne for all the little gotwinds, but hey can't have everything at once. My question, since I am now home and bored and itching to start something new, is the offer for the generator still open, I think correct me if I'm wrong but I think it was Mr Dell that had the deal going or is it finished also what sort of blades are you guys using. got to go cheerio Keep up the good work Super windy

Hi Windy. I was wondering where you had been since your return from Oz. PC problems are a nightmare - great when they are working.
You've got a bit of catching up to do, power wise with the latest wind generator projects here. The Futurenergy alternators are good, but need to be matched to a suitable set of blades, the 1.8m five blade ones they also sell are the best match. I doubt any PVC blades could compete with them - I think a good wooden set would work ok. Got a new member here that carves wood blades http://gotwind.forumco.com/topic~TOPIC_ID~509.asp
You being a chippy might be able to make some yourself??
Cheers Ben

Hiya SW,
Welcome back mate. Yes, t'was me that did the deal with Futurenergy. I thought we set it up way before you left actuallt but i could be wrong so apologies you've missed out. I'll gave the company a call and see if they would do another as a one off for you, although before I do this is there anybody else that wants one? SPEAK NOW!
I've still not got mine together as I'm still accumulating the metal for the chassis. I was a bit fortunate on the blades though and managed to get a set off ebay for £85 (plus £12 P&P). I can confirm that the blades are very nice, but I reckon you could make up a wooden set that would work well.
Cheers
Del.

I'm interested in a Future Energy generator and FE's blades to match.
Appreciate you trying to make the deal again.

O.k that's two of us interested, welcome on board longjohn, so from what I remember we need at least 4 people, anyone outthere might be interested, even if we don't do it right now, we can together get a buying date together and aim for that. cheerio Super Windy |

Hi Guys,
I've just spoken to Futurenergy and we would need another order of five units to get the special price. Just so people can see what the deal is in case they are reading this for the first time, we need to order five (or more) of the Futurenergy PMG units (any of the four voltage options). Ordering, payment and delivery is all done on an individual basis and direct with Futurenergy but we do need to get orders for five together to get the deal. The normal price is £150 but we can get them at £123.38 (£105 + VAT). Delivery is about £18 and they prefer you to purchase their bridge rectifier kit (£16 ish) as part of the warranty conditions.
I did ask them about discounts on the bladesets 2/3 months back and I think they would also need a minimum order of 5 to gain a discount. I have a set and can state they are excellent.
So just three more orders. Over to you guys.
Cheers
