Hi guys,

Here is a kit I received from ghurd. I assembled it and installed it in a box from an old 4 AA battery charger.

I liked the charger box because it already has two LEDs installed and it has a nice hinged transparent cover (to see the magic smoke inside )



The green connector:
1 - positive battery sensing
2 - negative battery sensing
3 - external dump LED - positive
4 - external dump LED - negative
5 - external battery LED - positive
6 - external battery LED - negative
7 - FET gate
8 - FET gate

If the external LEDs are not wanted, the 3,4,5,6 slots can drive additional FETs

This kit is amazing. It's so easy to adjust and it works so smooth. Kudos to ghurd for putting together such a nice regulator.

Agreed.
Good re-use of old plastic, Ghurds controller is a great solution for our low power wind generators.

I just saw this.

Nice job Speo!

If it needs expanded, the negative LED wires can be in the same connector hole.
