Has anyone seen this?

http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg133/litespeed58/AmetekMotorData.jpg

I ran across this a couple days ago. Someone claiming that this is the performance data chart for these motors. It has all the sizes and some pretty detailed info.

I was wondering if any of the Ametek guys here had seen it and or if they know how to decipher it.

I cannot make any sense of it.

Hi litespeed,

It appears to be missing the bit that tells you what each motor code (A, B, C, D etc) refers to in terms of the motor (30 VDC etc).

Even if you had it I would be a bit suspicious of it. Some people on this forum have done some good work on testing various Ametek units and we've now found that some are better than we originally thought and there is often more than one version for a given voltage model. Speo is the man for this and does sell Ametek units via his site.

Cheers

Del.

Thanks Del... I agree! It is very obvious to me now that none of the Ameteks are created equal. I think there are a lot more versions of these motors out there than people realize (good and bad).

I feel that most of the people that are playing with these motors will probably out grow them quickly and move on to bigger and better projects. IE: home built axial flux units or something along the lines of Future Energy's idea.

Anyway... The chart is here, for those who wish to try to decipher.

Regards,

AJ
