Hi Scooter,

You have four options. You can use a pulley with a 5/8" bore (I think I might have one somewhere if you're interested) and then bolt through the pulley onto your hub.

Option 2 is to ask Jonnny (Forum member) to make you one up on his lathe. He's done a few for Gotwind members and by all accounts does a superb job for very reasonable money.

Option three is to find someone with access to a lathe or ask a local engineering company.

Last option is to search on ebay.com (the USA site) for one. Not everyone will post to the UK.

Hope this helps

Cheers

Del.

Hi Scooter,

If no other options work better for you, I can buy one from "Canadian Tire" and send it to you for no extra cost(you have to pay what I am paying to Canadian Tire" and the shipping). I did that before for other forum members.

If I remember well, the price for the arbour, including taxes is about 15CAD (7.7 GBP) and the shipping should be between 9-12CAD (up to 6.2GBP)

It's not the best quality you can find on the market, but it worked fine for me.

Grizzly Tools also sells arbors for 5/8" and 1/2" shafts (I think it is www.grizzly.com), hardly the best, but good enough to get your feet wet imo and they work ok for pedal generators as well. I believe the last ones I purchased were $3.50 (US) each, not sure if they ship international though.

Best,
Tim

P.S. just checked,
