Very interesting results thus far, I purchased it this morning. I am not sure if these are available in 240v(?), but at least 120v (US).
First off, our grid connection coming into the house flexes some, from 120.8v to 121.8v.
Some CE's are dead on, others are way off, and not all wall warts are equal. I found a 120v 60mhz at 12v-14v 1200mah out that consumes 20 watts via the KAW initialally on plug in (no load), it is a heavy wall wart, another cheaper version (quite light weight) at 12v 1.5a out consumes no watt at plug in (no load). The heavier version also consumed 10 watts more under load.
My computer setup which I always assumed 47 watts - based on CE ratings (thin client, small lcd, and external 56k modem) in reality according to KAW only consumes 35w max, and generally only 30w.
The thin client is only consuming 10W active, the modem only 3W, the rest heading to the LCD monitor rated at 9W!
My small 120vac 18 LED bulbs show no Watt consumption on the KAW, but do show 0.01 amp (which theoretically makes them 1.2w?; CE rated at 1/2 watt).
I think this next week will be fun checking everything out, although I am guessing our old fridge is going to shock me!

Yes, it's a P3 Kill A Watt Meter; I purchased at the Omaha store For $30 plus tax.

| can I ask what computer and screen you have only consumming 35 watts? Im strugling with laptops that consume more than that |

I have two pc setups, both now tested using the KAW meter.
HP Thin Client booting Linux from a USB pendrive; 10w
8" Car type monitor VGA/TV/AV 17w
a very old Supra 56K modem 3w
aprox 30w-35w total
second system running Linux as well is a DECTop (I upgraded mem to 512K) 11w
antique? (1991) AOC 12" paper white VGA monitor 30w
(Internal winmodem).
aprox 41w-45w total.
Neither are speed demons by anymeans, but both allow me to browse, email, message boards, play a few older games, etc.
It is possible to run the thin client directly from a 12v battery using a JWIN2000 regulated car adapter, the 8" monitor of course is designed for car use and includes a fused car adapter (10.5v to 13.8v). Otherwise I just use a Xantrex 100 Pocket Inverter.
