Hi everyone @ gotwind I really need the alternator real soon, so things can move on, so on the 28th of april, I would like to place the order, for anyone new here we need 4 to 5 people so that we can get a good deal, and the the deal is basically the alternator usually cost £150+vat+carriage, and with good deal everyone can get it for £105+Vat=carriage, So I personally think that it a good deal where for £100 and something pounds for a extremely good alternator, you could in theory and by putting alit bit of hard work into building the rest of the turbine components, you could end up with a 600 watt turbine, so the date is 28th april for the purchase, which is next monday I can be flexible for a day or two in order to get the right people, but whatever happens by the 1st May I would have had placed an order anyway.
cheers

Have you got one of these alternators SuperWindy ? How good are they from your experience ? Doesnt ALTernator means that it's AC so you would need a bridge rectifier ?

hI SACONGO, VAT IS A VALUE ADDED TAX, PAYABLE ON EVERYTHING YOU BUY, I AM NOT SURE WHAT WOULD BE CALLED IN THE U.S.A, SORRY.
hI STEEVO77, NO I DON'T HAVE THIS ALTERNATOR, SOON I WILL THOUGH(), TO ME IT SEEMS FOR THE MONEY A VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY, THERE IS OTHER MEMBERS HERE THAT HAVE BOUGHT IT AND SO FAR THEY SEEM TO BE HAPPY WITH IT, ALSO IT DOES NEED A BRIDGE RECTIFIER, THAT CAN BE PURCHASED FROM THEM AT AROUND £16.

Windy - You have accidently hit the 'Caps Lock' button on your keyboard (capital letters) - it is known as shouting in forum 'speak', I know that is not your intention - worth knowing for the future. Ben.
No worries
