Bought one of these today.
Looks very good and £60 off till the 15th May.
The picture is a bit misleading the wind sensor actually mounts horizontaly.The display is wireless, well made and very detailed.
I don't think I will bother with the rainfall sensor thing though

Interesting .. I got the older one (http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=220865&&source=14&doy=2m5)
and it works well .. :)
Mine needs a new set of batteries every month or so for the reciever but the outside transmitter has been going on its original set for about 5 months ..

I`d like to mount onne of these on the hill near my house (Maplin kit) It would be interesting to see what readings I would get up there.
